Among the 1217 identifiable Disney characters featured in the official animated canon, there are a total of 42 feline characters, from house cats (like Figaro and the Aristocats) to big cats (like Simba and Bagheera) and every robotic (Sox), stuffed (Tigger) and anthropomorphic (Prince John) cat in between. That's about 3%. There are about half as many Disney cats as Disney dogs.
